A street feeding on Central Avenue in the International District, Albuquerque. Everyone eats. Nobody is asked why they came.
Each line below says how we know it.
3:30 to 5:00 in the afternoon.
Attested by Tom on site, and observed on two consecutive days — 31 August and 1 September 2026. Not read from posted signage. If you are travelling a distance, call first.
ABQ Ride Route 66 runs Central Avenue and stops within walking distance.
Route 66 was on detour when this page was written. Check the current ABQ Ride advisory before you set out.
Rob.
Rob is the person we spoke with and the only name this page will carry. Others help run the mission; we have not confirmed their roles, so we do not list them.
They may move to Rail Yard.
We met them at Rail Yard on Sunday 30 August 2026. Whether that becomes a second location, a replacement, or nothing at all is unknown as of 2 September 2026. Central Avenue is what we can stand behind today.
Photographed on site. No faces are published on this page — that is a decision, not an accident of framing.
